Winter Clearance: Nine West Up to 70% Off

January truly is the best time of year to get retail bargains and online shopping makes it even easier to snag the style you love at a fraction of a price.  This morning as I groggily tried to wake up in bed by skimming emails on my phone I saw that Nine West was now up to 70% off!  While I brushed my teeth I continued to skim through the styles and started making a cart so big that I seriously had to weed out my pickings - afterall even if shoes are a great price, real estate in my closet is rare!

Here are a few of my fave bargains to snag:

Pinktop $51.60 - Very reminiscent of the style of my beloved Camilla Skovgaard's styling with the jagged traction soles but in a simple enough shape to knot scream "Knock-Off" - even if there are several very similar styles.

TheGhost $44.70 - Loved this very vintage looking collection from supermodel/singer Karen Elson.  These peep-toe shoes are just about perfect, unfortunately when my browsing turned to purchasing, they ran out of my size before I could order them.

Nyoko $54.40 - I love a good winter bootie, especially the lace up ones and throw them on with everything from sweatpants to dresses.  This particular pair is really cute in the off kilter green color with faux shearling trim.

Deal of the Day: $165 Real Leather Jacket

Leather jackets, which usually cost $300-$600, are investment-worthy pieces because they can last a long time and be worn everyday. They look great with t-shirt and jeans, and they look just as a stylish over cocktail dresses.

This leather jacket from Torn by Ronny Kobo retails for $600, but you can pick it up for just $164.99 Williamsburg-based Peachfrog's eBay store. The studs clearly make the jacket a bit trendier, which could be a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Either way, it's an undeniably good deal for a true leather jacket.

Online Shopping Steals: Alexander Wang

If you didn’t have the chance to make it to the Alexander Wang sample sale or couldn’t stomach the line, SSENSE the e-commerce site is having a major sale with prices up to 70% off.  Anyways, just thought it was interesting to note that some of these prices are most likely similar or slightly less than what you can find at the sample sale this time around. n by Nicole Miller Fall Footwear Collection

While I don’t usually consider JC Penney to be a footwear destination, perhaps I will have to change my opinion on that subject thanks to Nicole Miller’s diffusion line.  I just caught a glimpse of the Fall 2011 shoes in the n by Nicole Miller collection and was won over by the affordability and the styling.  You can snag super cute little booties, patterned pumps and sophisticated wedges all for under $100 a pop. In fact right now several styles are marked down to just $50!  While my fave style is definitely the open toe buckle booties above, I am also digging the zip wedge booties and construction style booties below. Wish that they made size 5, but unfortunately for me the collection runs from size 6-11.  What do you think of the collection?

Since then a lot of people have been asking me where they can find them. They're by Issa Karmara, a small Korean label with no stocklist that I'm aware of. I bought them two summers ago from Pixie Market, so unfortunately they're not longer available. But turn that frown upside down because I've done a little shopping round up for you.

Deal of the Day: Hayden-Harnett Quorra Crossbody

If you missed Hayden-Harnett's sample sale a few weeks ago, you have another chance to score a deal on a handbag and other leather goods. Lots of goods are 50-70% off in-store and online.

I bought the Quorra crossbody bag for $109, which I already thought as a deal at the time, but now it's only $62 (retail 248)! I would probably be more upset if it'd be sitting in my closet for the past few weeks, but I've actually been wearing it almost everyday. I love small crossbody bags; they're so convenient and great for going out.

The bag is a little stiff and the silver living doesn't hold up that well against scratches, but overall the bag is well made with quality leather. It fits all the basics with a little stacking - wallet, iPhone, work Blackberry, Canon point & shoot camera, keys, etc, chapstick, pens. A recommended purchase for those looking for a small structured bag.

Deal of the Day: Hurley x Pendleton Girls Jackets

It seems like everyday there is a new Pendleton collaboration. Awhile back it was Opening Ceremony. Then it was Urban Outfitters, and now most recently Hurley!

The Hurley x Pendleton collection was released a couple months ago, and since then I've been thinking about the crop jacket. You know me and my prints, it is a fatal attraction! This piece would be a great way to brighten up a cold gloomy day, and it would look great with skinny jeans and boots. This crop jacket retails for $299, but for some wonderful reason, it's $234 at Karmaloop without being marked down.

The other jacket in the collection is the Winchester, which retails for $250, but you can find it for half off at 6pm. With the signature Pendleton Navajo print just in the hood, those who want a more classic look may gravitate towards this piece.

This tunic from BB Dakota is a fun take on the classic white shirt. It's a versatile piece, could be worn as is or cinched at the waist with a thin belt. It would look great with skinny jeans, and because it's long enough, leggings would work too.

I actually bought a pair back in March for $50 from Jildor. It was literally the last pair, so I'm surprised to see them for 60% off at nordstrom.com. They have them in in sizes 6-10.

For light showers, these ankle boots are nice dainty option. They look a little sock like on me, but I liked them enough to keep them. They look best with skinny jeans and leggings, and with a rainy forecast ahead, these booties are a great deal.
