Being obsessed with knuckle rings naturally I fell in love with this armour ring from Vivienne Westwood (left). I've been eying this piece for seasons, so when I saw the ring (right) for $24 by the checkout line at Urban Outfitters, I immediately thought to myself, "Dupli-CAUGHT!"

I love Vivienne Westwood ring for being a bold statement piece, and what I love most about it is how the shiny silver really resembles a knight's armor.

iWant: Octopus Me

Maybe you’ve realized my love of the strange, the unexpected and the slightly dark when it comes to jewelry and other accessories. Maybe because when people see me they expect me to be this sweet girly girl and I suppose I can be at times, but I use accessories as an outward expression to signal that things are not always what they seem. I find contrast to be sexy, intriguing and captivating. Perhaps that is why I am so drawn to this fabulous ring that I found on the Etsy shop Octopus Me thanks to a discussion with my friend RY. I’m more than a little obsessed with the idea of tentacles wrapped around my little finger and the oxidized silver ring is the perfect interpretation. Unfortunately I’ve been shopping a bit incessantly lately and I’ll have to hold off on this obsession for now. But maybe you can indulge on this ring that can be work in multiple directions to create a new look and organic feel. If the ring doesn’t catch your fancy I’m also feeling the Baby Octopus Pendant! Delicious.

Look for Less: Yves Saint Laurent Ovale Ring

If you were coveting Yves Saint Laurent Arty Ovale ring, but didn't get it because it was too pricey (or sold out), you might want to consider Rachel Leigh's gumball ring. Her ring comes in a wide variety of colors and costs only $68 compared to $200+ for the YSL ring.

On Sale: Erica Anenberg Two-Finger Rings

A bunch of two-finger rings from Erica Anenberg are on sale for $42-$78 (over 50% off) at on HauteLook. I've been looking for a good "knuckle ring" or "bar ring" for over year, so when I saw these earlier today, I had to buy.

Sample Sale Report Dec 2009: Rachel Leigh

Stopped by the Rachel Leigh Sale today and found it to be well organized and easy to look at for most part. Staff was on hand to answer any questions and help as necessary. There were a couple of mirrors available to view your purchases as well. Everything is $60 and under. Multi-strand necklaces for $50, Oval Jewel & bead necklace $30, Jeweled Square Rings for $40, Square earrings $45, Bow rings $15, Hoop & Bead Earrings $20. Rose enamel necklaces are $25.

There were buckle cuffs & Plastic bobble rings $10 in bins below the tables

One of my fave pieces at the sample sale was this statement pave ring that was $60.

Snake skin & fabric covered rings were $30.

Assorted necklaces and earrings at the sale that only had a couple in each style were stored in these jewelry pouches on the rack, however the prices were not marked for this grouping and I had to ask for each piece. There was a wishbone pave necklace that I considered for $25.

Super cute bow enamel cuffs ranged in price from $5-20 depending on if they were damaged. While I was at the sale though I believe a woman came in and snapped up all the $5 bows though, probably as gifts for the holiday season.

Millie Cuffs that are slighty damaged are $10, Fabric covered cuffs are also $10.

My little indulgence at the sale although wasn't super cheap was this jeweled ball that looks like something King Henry would have worn :) Slightly royal, oversized and definitely fun.

Great sale for if you're looking for show stopper party pieces. The kind of jewelry that starts conversations. While not the lowest prices, at $60 and under, still within the realm of reasonable.
