There is a plethora of sample sales this week! I don't even know where to start from 3.1 Phillip Lim to Marissa Webb to Dolce & Gabbana to Rachel Zoe to Christian Louboutin to Samantha Pleet! Sample Sales November 5-11, 2012
It's odd that it's only been one week since Sandy aka Frankenstorm has changed the way that New Yorkers are living their day to day lives. There is so much that we took for granted - heat, hot water, electricity, public transit, food and gas. I personally feel very lucky to have made it through the storm with almost no major life changes except not being able to go anywhere for a few days, a tree snapping in half a few feet from the house and coming down with a terrible cold. I know that so many are still suffering still without heat, without food and without homes. It's been amazing to see the city pull together in so many ways. I've seen people opening up their homes to help their neighbors and friends and plenty of people collecting clothes, canned goods and even on the front lines going door to door. I hope that you've made it through as fortunately as I have and would take a minute to consider donating to help those that are still in need via The Salvation Army or The American Red Cross.
Anyways since life still goes on, so do the sample sales. Not 100% sure that all are still happening but we'll try to keep you posted. Please note the cancelled/rescheduled sales at the bottom.
