It is important to note that some states have laws against campaign paraphernalia within "a 100-foot radial measured from the entrances of the voting booth," meaning you won't lose your right to vote, but you will have to hide your Obama gear.

Dressing Up & Voting With Zac Posen
Zac Posen is inviting you to join him in dressing up to cast your ballot for Obama-Biden. Send Zac your picture and he'l post it up at fashionthevote.org. You can upload it through the site or email it to zac@fashionthevote.org.

The National Loves Obama

Artist: The National
Recommended If You Like: My Morning Jacket, British Sea Power, R.E.M, Interpol
In spirit of tonight's debates, I'm wearing an Obama "Mr. November" t-shirt. I love this shirt for obvious reasons and because it's a smile to my fellow music nerds. "Mr. November" is a song from one of my favorite bands, The National.
A brooklyn-based indie band, The National won me over back in 2005 when their album Alligator hit college radio. I love their sound, mellow yet powerful and dark yet warm.
They're playing in Cincinnati, Ohio tomorrow for Vote-Ohio.net and will be in Brazil later this month. They're an amazing live band, so if you ever get the chance to see them, do it. I leave you with the video for "Mistaken For Strangers", a track off their most recent release, Boxer.

Runway to Change
Finally, with just four weeks until Election Day, the designer collaborations for Obama are here. There are shirts and accessories from list of big designers, including Diane von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Vera Wang, Zac Posen, and Tracy Reese.
I say this respectfully, some of the designs were a bit disappointing, but there were a few pieces that I would consider buying to support Obama and add to my memorabilia collection.
