My friends Matt Fox and Enrique Crame III have a unique style that even in New York City can be spotted from a mile a way. Always dapper, always put together, always dandy so when they started their online boutique 4 years ago I was very excited that they were sharing their brand of gentile dressing with the world. After much success in the digital sphere and with a number of pop-up shops over the years including ones at Onassis, Blind Barber, Chelsea market, the Jazz Age Lawn Party and the Brooklyn Flea. These fine gentlemen took the plunge and opened their first permanent retail shop in Hell's Kitchen. So whether you need suspenders, bow ties, spats, handkerchiefs, cufflinks, sock garters or a dapper hat make sure you stop by for great gifts for yourself or that special man in your life.

Go: Fine & Dandy Pop-Up Shop
Tonight I had a chance to stop by and visit a pop-up shop hosted at Onassis by a couple of our favorite dapper gentlemen friends Matt Fox and Enrique Crane of Fine and Dandy - the online purveyors of all goods a fellow might need to be polished and well accessorized. True to form, the fellows looked great in their signature bow ties as they sell their wares that now include brand new Spats!
From cuff links to suspenders, pocket squares and lapel pins – they’ve got you covered. Whether you’re looking to up your clothing game or dress up your man, stop by and prepare to be charmed and become charming.
Fine & Dandy Pop-Up, Onassis 71 Greene Street (b/n Broome & Spring) - Saturday, April 16th, 2011 11am-7pm.

I'll be spinning from 4-6PM both days.

Fine and Dandy: One Day Sale
In honor of Fashion's Night Out, Fine and Dandy will be holding a one day sale which ends on September 10th, 2010 at 11:59PM. Even though the sale actually starts tomorrow, the website has already been updated to reflect the sale prices for the event. Plus, if you order $75 or more during the sale, you'll receive a commemorative FineAndDandyShop.com tote!
Whether you're looking for cufflinks, ties, tie bars, scarves or pocket squares, Fine and Dandy has you covered. The pieces are fun and can jazz up your regular business attire with minimal effort. Suits in general tend to be a bit blah for me - so adding a splash of color or pattern from a tie or pocket scarf are easy ways to make your suit stand out in a good way.
In terms of the pricing, here are some of the details on what's up for grabs during the sale:
Hats starting at $9.
Bow ties starting at $23.
Handkerchiefs starting at $15.
Socks starting at $12.
All pocket squares are $19.
All ties are $25.

I Like Men in Fine & Dandy
Earlier this week, our friends at Fine and Dandy celebrated their one year anniversary and released their 2009 lookbook. Congratulations, boys! We're so proud of you!

In a previous post, I've mentioned how I like it when boys suit up because it gives them an aura of confidence. The same applies to bow ties and other men's accessories. It's fun, cute and often hot.
Here are a few of my favorite fall looks from Fine and Dandy. The use of colors, patterns, and textures - perfection! I especially love the last shot. Wardrobe lust! I want that in my closet now.

The lookbook was shot by photographer Patrick Roxas. You can (and should) view the rest here. It's sharp and absolutely fantastic.

Show Us Some Sugar, Vote for Us :)
Lani and I got the opportunity to attend the Independent Fashion Blogger Soiree again this year. We had an amazing time and it was pretty incredible to see how much the IFB has grown since we last attended. We met lots of other bloggers, saw some familiar faces and felt like we were really part of a community. We even got to observe a panel of established bloggers/industry experts including Susie Bubble (of Style Bubble), Wendy Brandeis and Jessica Schroeder (of What I Wore).
Last year thanks to you, our lovely readers we placed 2nd and 3rd in the Dress Up Contest sponsored by the event. Help us place again by voting for us. Simply click on the links and the hearts underneath each picture to vote. Please vote for all three photos: Erin , Lani and the Group Shot with our friends, Enrique and Matt, from Fine & Dandy.

My outfit is a futuristic glam look that looks slightly reminiscent of Judy Jetson! I really wanted to wear my dress I picked up with the leather cut-out midriff I picked up at a sample sale so the outfit formed around that. I also busted out my Lucite Wedge heels that I save for special occasions :) The space B. East didn't allow for the best photo's but I wanted to stick with one from the night as it was a night to remember.

You might remember this photo from Lani's Style Diary a while back. She rarely wears the same look from head to toe again, but felt nothing calls for crazy leggings and a turban like a blogger dress up party. Lani's outfit started with the leggings and ended with a gypsy/fortune teller look. Tres Cute!

Vote for Best Dressed!
Please vote for us in the Modepass Dress Up Soiree that I had previously posted! It's the final 2 days to vote and Lani and are amongst the top 3 contenders which is a hugely amazing accomplishment already! Thank you so much wonderful readers for your support! Please take the time to hit the (+) sign under our photo credits to vote. Part of the objective was to wear vintage! Lani wore her awesome Housing Works hat find and 80s blouse. I paired my awesome Housing Works vintage YSL harem pants with Alexander Wang and a vintage houndstooth purse!
Here are some of the lovely folks we met and mingled with!
