The Bendon sample sale has become a must for me over he last couple years to pick up gorgeous lingerie at a fraction of the price. I stopped by the peaceful, well organized sale around 6:30 last night and there were only about a handful of other shoppers.
Although it wasn't advertised there is a small selection of Stella McCartney intimates priced at $25 a bra, $15 a bottom and $40 for a chemise. Day of the week panties are $50 for a set and I notice a few Stella Valentine's Day boxed panties for $15. As for the Elle Macpherson Intimates, bras are $20, bottoms $10, suspenders $10, torsolette $10, Chemise/cami $30, sleep set $40. I spotted some Bendon sports bras for $20 a pop and a few random bras sprinkled in with the Elle Macpherson merchandise.
The Obsidian by Elle Macpherson are priced at the same range as the Stella McCartney and includes ultra sexy black lace numbers. Sizes range from a 32a all the way to a DD cup although band widths tended to stay in the area of 32-36.
Larger busted ladies fear not though because Fayreform and Dimity So has got you covered with sizes D to J. Majority of sizes in the D to G range. For Fayreform Bras are $20, bottoms $10, Chemise $40. For Dimity So rompers/chemise are $30, bras $20, bottoms $10.
The sale offers a private curtained fitting area with mirror to try on your merchandise. Perhaps if the sale was busier you might have to share but perhaps not?
Also while I was at this sample sale just across the hall in a separate room I was introduced to a line called Skin that is carried in Barney's, select boutiques, hotels and spas. The line launched in 2003 and the designer, Susan Beischel created it with the idea of being comfortable in the skin you're in. The collection uses for most part 100% Pima cotton and some organic cotton to create luxe silky smooth and comfortable pieces that you can dress up, dress down or wear even as pajamas.
Skin is all about versatility and most of the pieces are sophisticated and multi-functional. In line with this philosophy the color palette of the merchandise is mostly neutral. Cami’s which normally retail for $55-70 are now $20. Cotton Thongs that normally retail for $20 a pair are $5 each or 3 for $10 are available in sizes S-XL. Parisian chic long sleeve tees are $30 while Yoga Robe Jackets are $79.
Great sale in general if you are looking to stock up on sexy intimates or luxe basics.

The Bendon Intimates Sample Sale is seriously one of my fave sample sales to score some pretty lingerie at a great price. Every girl deserves a pretty little secret.
They also have Stella McCartney at just $25 for bra’s, $15 for bottoms and $40 for cami & bottom sets! I also spotted 1 pack of Stella day of the week undies for $50. Plenty of Stella McCartney and Elle Macpherson cami and bottom sets in purples and orange tones. There were also some Stella McCartney gorgeous lace trimmed retro look bras’ and a superfun rainbow chiffon bra with sheer shorts in varying sizes and not as large of a selection as the other brands at the sale.
There is also a large selection of Fayreform (which specializes in D-G sizing) priced at $20 bras and $10 bottoms.
The wall included a display of some of the sexier styles.
