So Uniqlo has been really on it in terms of collaborations these days, turning around capsule collections at a lightening speed that some are even going under the radar. Although I hadn't heard about the British designer Lulu Guinness collaborating with any brand, lo and behold a mini tee-shirt collection just launched for Uniqlo yesterday! Featuring super cute and feminine graphic tees in black, white and blue for just $19.90 a pop! Some with peter pan collars, others with lip prints and others with the face of a girl or a cat are wearable and endearing. Snag them online or in store while they last.

Vena Cava X Unliqlo Launch
I arrived during my lunch break - I decided to trek to Soho since the weather was amazing (instead of all this nonsense rain we've been having this week). It wasn't too packed but there were definitely quite a few people scoping out the new line.
The collection is made up of a mixture of tops and dresses - each of which comes in two colors. The pieces are jersey and seem like they would be uber comfortable in the summer and definitely easy to wear.

Charlotte Ronson x Uniqlo Launch
In case you forgot, Charlotte Ronson’s collaboration with Uniqlo dropped today quietly in Soho and it looked like all 6 styles were still available in multiple colorways. Sizes were plentiful and although I noticed several people stop an take a double take at the collection but it was by no means bustling. The clothes were not placed at the front of the store, as with Costello Tagliapietra’s launch but closer towards the mid-back section. The signage was so discreet that at first I walked right past the section without noticing it. Each piece will retail for $29.99 for a limited time.
My favorite piece in person was the trapeze dress that actually is seamed with separate print fabric to create a unique graphic effect.
As for sizes, if you are a size Large I would go snag up pieces sooner than later as there were only a couple per style left. However, if you are an XS, Small or Medium there are plenty to choose from.

Uniqlo Designer Invitation Project: Spring 2011
With it’s easy elegant silhouettes the Costello Tagliapietra collection for Uniqlo is a no-brainer. Dolman sleeve tee-shirt dresses never looked so right. My personal fave is the tie front v-neck and the asymmetrical sleeve dress. I’ll be saving my pennies to stock up for summer! Since some of the Costello Tagliapietra pieces from last round have become my summer wardrobe staples, I’ll be there on April 21.
Vena Cava:
With it’s quirky cool aesthetic and feminine sporty attitude, some of these Vena Cava pieces are right up my alley. Loving both the geometric triangle dresses and the strappy sundress.
Will you be at Uniqlo picking up pieces or are you getting tired of collaborations yet?
