Sample Sale Report: Tory Burch June 2012
The Tory Burch sale was fairly busy considering I visited in the middle of the day as women rushed to get their fix of signature prints and shoes. I actually never ended up entering the shoe arena so you'll have to forgive the gap in my report. When you enter the sale, if you're interested in shoes make sure that you pick up a ticket/number at the entry way. The shoe area has been cordoned off from the rest of the sale and they are calling out numbers to eagerly awaiting women to try to keep things orderly.
As per usual at a Clothingline sale all large bags and coats must be checked but they let you keep a small handbag. There is a changing area that I believe closes half an hour before the sale ends each day. Inside the sale itself though you won't spot a single mirror.
As you enter the sale if you're interested in handbags they are all hung up on the wall with signage indicating the price which varied from $195 to $395. For the logo happy consumer there are plenty of options in addition to some subtler options for the more discreet.
Merchandise appeared to be for most part stock and sizes ranged from 0-12 with a good selection in each category.
Here is some of what I spotted at the sale. A signature printed tunic for $110, embellished tee $75 and logo printed trench $195.
Clip dot jacquard dress $130, Embellished and 2-fer dresses $130, mixed fabric blazer $175.
While prices still aren't the cheapest if you're a fan of Tory Burch you may want to shop now for best selection, although Clothingline does have a tendency to slash prices on the last day.
