NY Sample Sale Report: Kooba Handbags

I stopped by the Kooba sample sale preview last night. There was a great selection of styles and colors. I recognized many of the bags from the fall 2010 collection which is currently in stores and online at kooba.com. There were shoulder bags, totes, satchels and crossbody. There were a few clutches and small bags, but not as many as previous sales.
I saw a great selection of classic black and brown handbags, as well as a range of bright colors. My personal favorites were the darker colors like maroon and navy. Colorful bags can be practical, and they are an easy way to add a pop of color to your look!

The sale was very well organized; each box was labelled with the style, prices and a photo of the bag. A couple styles were $100 or less. Most bags were in the $175 to $300 range deeply discounted, many 60% off.

True samples were in a seperate room. Prices ranged from $40 to $160. There were a few gems to be found, but I think the real highlights were the bags in the main room.

There were also a few styles of summer sandals and wedges for sale, $100+.

I would recommend this sale to anyone looking for a new everyday bag (fit for work and weekends) and willing to spend $200+ and anyone looking for a small mini crossbody and willing to spend around $175.
