Sample Sale Report: Catherine Malandrino

I went by Catherine Malandrino last night after seeing on Savvy's email lis that they had slashed prices today, but I'm really not sure what they slashed because there was no signage indicating markdowns or additional % off. There was a line to get in and out of the sale, but the hold up was due to the fact that all bags must be checked and only one guy was working the coat room. Also slight delays getting in because of the elevator and a constant stream of girls looking happy leaving the sale with multiple brown paper bags.

Size selection ranged from 0-12, although most apparel seemed focused on the 2-6 Size Range. Once inside the sale was spacious and there was a changing area curtained off in the back. Prices are not yet what I would consider cheap but high quality, beautiful prints and whimiscal embellishments and embroideries abound.

I did not see any leather jackets but there was a fair number of sweaters, blouses and dresses but women were gathering them up by the armful!

Tomorrow's the last day so perhaps they will mark down for real? Go if you're a fan of Malandrino's feminine, glam style, but be warned it's still not super cheap! If you do go though, don't bring a purse to save time.

Price List as I saw:
Dresses $125
Embroidered or Leather Dresses $175
Camis, Tanks & Bustiers $75
Blouses $90
Bottoms $60
Jackets $140
Coats $150
Leather/Suede Jacket $225
