I have family in town so I thought I wouldn't get a chance to hit up many sample sales this week...but apparently shopaholism is genetic. Forgoing museums and sights for sales, I also ended up hitting up Dolce & Gabanna/ D&G.
The sale requires you to check all bags upon entry but multiple staff in the coat room made it less painful.
The sale is divided into 2 areas, current season and old merch. Newer merch is all 60-85% Off retail but that $1200 jacket is still $480. Therefore I didn't spend much time on this side of the sale and opted to look on the otherside for bargains.
The older merch section is 85% off the lowest price so it include merch that is several years old even, passed down through the outlet stores and priced to clear.
Shoes were mostly in sizes 39, with few in 38. I did see one rare 36, but no 35s or 37s from what I picked up. They were around $320-360 for most part becoming $48-54! So if you are a size 9, GO!
Belts were around $240-375 = $36-56.25!
Chain trimmed tank was $775 = $116.50
I saw denim corset dresses for $450=$67.50
Chiffon dresses for $750= $112.50
Jeans from $227-400 = $34-60
Printed Tights or Mesh leggings $100-180 = $15-27
I mean merch is not fresh and doesn't really grab my attention. I didn't end up with anything because I was feeling a bit tired and didn't feel like looking too seriously at anything.
However, if you want something more classic there are some deals to be had. My brother snagged a wool pinstripe slim fitted D&G jacket for a mere $58.50! I also spotted some pinstripe woman's trousers for about $21! Sale ends tomorrow!
