Stopped by the Helmut Lang sample sale yesterday and was greeted by a large spacious bright space that I'm assuming is some kind of showroom/workspace for Theory.
The samples were by far the best deal and were marked by a red round sticker on the tag but the section for women looked quite picked over and it was left to a lone neon dress, several sheer white shorts, a few trousers and a plethora of plain long sleeve tees. ( you can see the rack above that's by the shopper in the racer back tank)
The racks were well organized and prices were great for Helmut Lang but still not affordable enough for me. The uber cool downtown aesthetic of so many of the pieces in a variety of super stretchy fabrics were super comfortable. Although some of the body con pieces I tried on made me think I should hit the gym more often.

The men's sample section however looked much more plentiful although sizes on samples for men or women were not well indicated.
Otherwise leather shorts were plentiful and rang in at $250 as did leather pants. Leather jackets were $650.
There was a section of denim/black slim pants that were marked down to $99.
Also among the mesh, stretchy techno fabrics and cute drop crotch sweatpants was some items including tank tops, skirts and dresses in an amazing digital print stretch.
As for sizing, I didn't get a good look at the men's but for women's it's primarily 4-8 although there are sizes from 0-12 that I spotted and plenty of P in certain knits.
The fitting rooms were legit with 7 private stalls for trying on your wears, although they didn't have mirrors inside them you had privacy to change and a big mirrored wall outside to examine yourself. I think I waited about 5 min or so to try on.
