Joyce looked perfectly age appropriate and lady-like in her pointy toe shoes, frilly blouse and fur trim leather jacket without looking stuffy thanks her velvet shorts. It was a nice play of texture but she kept her color palette simple enough that it's not distracting.
She says she was going for a professional look for the gallery. Thanks to her opaque tights I would agree that this look works in a creative field.
