Sample Sale Report: Rebecca Taylor

This morning I headed to the Rebeca Taylor Sample Sale for my dose of feminine pretty womenswear. When I arrived on the scene there was a small line up to get in before doors opened to the public of the designer's most avid fans. Once doors opened, the sale was busy but by no means crowded. The 260 Sales staff is friendly but firm to keep things under control. As with all 260 Sales, there is mandatory bag and coat check. So if you can, head to the sale with just a wallet.

As for the product there was plenty to want as even staffers were cooing over product. Sizes run from a 0-12 or XS to Large with a fairly good selection in each size category. 0 and 12 have slightly less stock. Here is the full price list below.

Prices start at just $10 for lingerie or charm bracelets and top out at $299 for gowns, leather or embellished jackets.

Here are some of those $299 gowns, they are swanky enough for the red carpet or this beaded number in ivory would make a beautiful alternative wedding dress.

For cocktail dresses lik the strapless turquoise or gold sequins, they will set you back $199.

If an everyday or work-friendly dress is more your thing, you can snag breezy printed dresses or this zippered sheath for $129.

If you're in the market for a top, the Rebecca Taylor sale boasts many options from lace and tweed peplum to perforated leather tees.Which will set you back $59 for tees and $79 for blouses.

From peplum to snake printed to fluttery, there are plenty of options. If a casual sweatshirt is more your thing, they are $99.

Another thing for $99 are these pretty sweaters with enough mixed stitches or soft printed patterns to stand out from the crowd.

At the top end of the sale, leather or embellished jackets like the ones above will set you back $299.

Sharp jackets like the ones above are $159.

Shorts at the sale are $79 while pants are $99.

There is also a small selection of denim at the sale for $75 a pair in sizes 24 to 31.

If you're looking for accessories, this is the section of the sale with the best prices! Scarves were super soft and $30 each.

 Shoes, while not plentiful and limited to sizes 6 to 10 with the greatest concentration in 7 1/2 to 10 were just $50 each.

The leather handbags were the deal of the sale, priced at $50! While some of the pieces retail at $395, the embellished croc purse normally retails for $595!

Last but not least, belts are $20, wallets are $50 and lingerie/hosiery are $10. With some of the tights, the original retail value is $36, but with others $18.
