SugarRockCatwalk.com: Sample Sale Report: White + Warren

I stopped by the White + Warren sample sale yesterday over lunch and both crowds and merchandise were moderate. There wasn't a huge selection to choose from in the spacious well lit room but as always the quality of merchandise was high. From what I could tell sizes seemed to mostly be in the Small to Large category although there were some pieces that would look good even if they were oversized.
Tables are sparsely laid out with samples with staffers ready to pull sizes that you may need upon request.
Prices started at $30 a tee (3 for $60) and maxed out at $150. The real draw was the cashmere sweaters that the brand is best known for at $100.
If you are willing to dig however there is a small back room of cardboard boxes where women are also changing where you can find the real steals at $15 for tees, $25 for non cashmere sweaters and just $35 for the cashmere. The cashmere samples were few and despite the tags cut out of the back neck and having to guess the size, in fairly good condition. I managed to scoop a long cashmere cardigan and cashmere coworkers neck tee in the sample section with some digging.
This sale is worth stopping by if you are in the area and in need of luxe cashmere basics but not one to go out of your way to get to unless you are a huge White + Warren fan.
