WWD released photo's of Lindsay Lohan's expansion into clothing from her legging line 6126. Normally I wouldn't really care much about Lohan's so called "designs", especially after her Ungaro pasty fiasco, but our friend Mary-Helen pointed out that it looks like Lindsay's "designing" is rooted in stealing from her wardrobe and from the talented young designer Jen Kao's FW 09 collection.
I'm not sure what fabric of materials Lohan had in mind but the style lines are plainly obvious. Her partner Kaylor told WWD, “She’s not a celebrity who lends her name to a brand...She’s intimately involved from Day One. She picks fabrics. She looks at trims. She picks buttons. She doesn’t let anything go into production without trying it on.” Kaylor didn't lie. Ms Lohan tried on the dress, was photographed in said dress, and now is claiming it as her own. Did you think no one would notice?
Let actor's act and designer's design. If Lohan was such a fan of Jen Kao's designs, would it not be better to ask the designer to guest design a style for her collection instead?

Lilo is an idiot! It is infuriating that a talentless slob like her gets credit for things people worked hard on!
