Are You Feelin' the Boyfriend Jeans?

When Katie Holmes was first snapped wearing boyfriend jeans, pretty much every blog tore her apart. The styling that one day was pretty bad, but since then she's been less frumpy and the look has caught on!

For a number of denim lines such as Rich & Skinny, their straight-leg or skinny cuts are usually their top seller, but this season, the boyfriend jeans are giving them a run for #1. Though I'm not crazy about this trend, I do like the relief from skinny jeans and I like the relaxed and distressed look of boyfriend jeans.

Her vintage Valentino Jacket (bought at Tokio 7) with rows of ruffles at the back and sleeve certainly made my head turn. Kajsa added a cascading ruffles blouse, booties and cropped boyfriend jeans (recently popularized by Katie Holmes) for a casual romantic but pulled together look.

Her inspiration? As she was working on the interior for the W Hotel she was collecting images with an organic feel and was inspired to dress in a similar aesthetic.
