Watch: Doll & Em on HBO

Last week, HBO & Style Coalition hosted an early private screening of the new hit series Doll & Em, a British comedy starring Emily Mortimer and Dolly Wells. I had the chance to attend along with some some other bloggers as we shared a night of fun while watching the first two episodes back-to-back. I helped myself to a gin cocktail inspired and named after Doll & Em while watching the show.

Written by and staring real-life best friends Mortimer and Wells, DOLL & EM is a semi-improvised comedy that explores what happens when a Hollywood actress hires her childhood friend as a personal assistant while making a film in Los Angeles. A bittersweet, intimate portrait of female friendship, the series follows their relationship through unexpected complications and surprising twists.
