Was feeling a little 70s and I decided to pull out my platform sandals, wide legged jeans and blue eyeshadow for a casual day look. I kept the look from becoming too historic by adding a bright pop of a fun necklace and my go-to leather jacket.

Uniqlo is such a great brand. It's much bigger in Asia than here, interestingly. I wonder why it hasn't caught on bigger in North America. Or maybe it has and I live under a rock? Anyway.

Hi Sunny! great point! while wide legged jeans can typically bring back memories of 90s hip hop culture, I think if they are fitted through the waist and hip and have a slight bell shape, they definitely have a slight 70s vib to them. Particularly if they are also high-waisted.
Got to agree with you that Uniqlo is amazing for great prices and merchandise and with a new store opening on 5th Ave they can only grow :)
