Ever wonder what it was like inside a bank vault? Aside from movies like Mission Impossible it's kind of hard to imagine what it would be like.
Well now we have our chance to find out! Lisa Perry, the 60s inspired designer, transformed the former Madison Avenue Citibank into her flagship Manhattan store last year. Turns out that the designer is making good use of her space and she is opening up the vault downstairs and creating a sale area. Everything in the vault from current and past seasons is up to 75% off!
The Vault will feature $200, $300 and $400 racks and a table of accessories, books and trinkets that range in price from $5-100.
The actual vault has become an installation piece featuring fake jewelry and money pouring out of the safety deposit boxes.
So if you're a fan of Mod merch or just curious what a bank vault looks like, head over to check it out! The Vault will remain open all year long with new merchandise arriving continuously.
Lisa Perry, 976 Madison Ave (near 76th St) 212.334.1956. Mon-Sun, 10am-6pm, daily.
