Hot Chocolate Festival @ City Bakery

So I've been hearing about how City Bakery has the most amazing hot chocolate in all of NYC from countless friends since I moved to NYC, and although I'm always trawling 18th Street for Sample Sales at the Metropolitan Pavilion, I've never managed to drop by. Well I just got a big fat reason, or rather a monthful of reasons! This February marks the 18th annual Hot Chocolate Festival and it will include a monthful of different flavors including Chili Pepper, Lemon, Chinese Cinnamon, Banana Peel, Bourbon, Ginger, Love Potion Hot Chocolate and many more. A different one will be featured every night (although there are a few repetitions). The Hot Chocolate is apparently super rich and their small cup of it at $2.50 is all you need. Full Calender of flavors here!

To Note to our crafty readers, the City Bakery is also hosting a knitting night with dinner, dessert, bottomless hot chocolate and knitting workshops! For more info click here.

City Bakery 3 West 18th Street (b/n 5th & 6th Ave)
**Bonus while you are there I hear the marshmallows and cookies are tasty.

The chocolate chip cookies are good but SUPER buttery. Probably not best to eat one by yourself, not that I ever have or would do such a thing.....ahem.
