Outfit from the weekend! This dress is one of my favorite dresses, but I don't wear it often just because it's polyester. I have a love/hate relationship with poly. Pro, vintage polyester usually means the garment is in great condition. Con, polyester is terrible for your skin because it doesn't allow your skin to breathe the same way as non-synthetic materials like cotton or silk.

Polyester is toughy- so many pretty shirts and dresses on the racks of thrifts stores, but, I have a hard time dealing with the feel of them. This dress is worth it, though! And, I'm still a huge fan of the lips!!
