Polly Scattergood is a British singer-songwriter from whose quirky, electro-pop sound first got my attention on Urban Outfitter's LSTN #3 with the track "Nitrogen Pink". Her voice is a slight raspy whisper, her lyrics raw honesty and her melodies slightly dark and unsettling. But her song "Please Don't Touch" got completely hooked. She self titled debut album on May 19, 2009 in the US but she has penned over 800 songs before this debut.
