As Part of the CMJ Music Marathon, the Ralph Lauren Rugby Store will be having an artist showcase from Oct 22-Oct 24. Details & free downloads below as taken from the Ralph Lauren Rugby Blog:

WEDNESDAY OCT. 22

Chester French, 3pm
How can you go wrong with a band signed to super-producer Pharrell Williams's exclusive Star Traks label? Chester French brings a hip, Ivy League style to urban dance beats.

THURSDAY OCT. 23
Tim Williams, 2pm
Called a combination of The Shins and Built to Spill, Tim Williams is all his own with songs that beg to be sung along to and tunes that you'll be hard pressed to get out of your head.

Emmy The Great, 3pm
If I could describe Emmy in one word, it would be “pretty” — an adjective that applies equally to her voice, her music and Emmy herself. A petite English songstress, Emmy’s stature in no way belies the huge power of her songs.

FRIDAY OCT. 24 AFTERNOON SET
Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, 2pm
One of the most intriguing figures to come onto the music scene in 2008, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson quite literally went from living on the streets to being a prime CMJ commodity. With an album produced by industry heavyweights and featuring backing vocals by Kyp Malone (TV on the Radio) and Dan Rossen (Grizzly Bear), MBAR brings dark and sexy to folk music.

The Low Anthem, 3pm
Beautiful and soft, The Low Anthem produces haunting falsettos and harmonies reminiscent of old Appalachian music.

FRIDAY OCT. 24 EVENING SET
April Smith, 7pm
April's MySpace page describes her as "The Beatles fronted by the Andrews Sisters.” She has all the catchy hooks of The Beatles at their poppiest, but with a voice strong enough to make the Andrews Sisters green with envy.

Jukebox the Ghost, 7:45pm
With a peppy sound that would be at home in a Broadway musical, Jukebox has toured the country with their poppy melodies, appearing everywhere from my own website to NPR.

Tally Hall, 8:30pm
There’s more to these guys than just matching oxfords and color-blocked ties. Tonight’s headliners are one of the best-known indie pop bands of the moment. Their upbeat and whimsical songs have won them appearances on Craig Ferguson, MTV, The O.C., Good Day and, most recently, a spot at Lollapalooza.
