Feeling sort of 70s lately, perhaps the Yves Effect is getting to me? Seeing all the floppy hats and platform shoes on the Spring 2011 runways had me embrace burgundy, camel and chocolate tones.
I don’t know why but I’ve had this thing against dark wash blue denim for a while. I guess ever since it exploded into popularity in the late 90s I sort of rebelled because it seemed to become almost like a uniform. I stuck to light wash, grey denim and dark wash black denim – perhaps in some ways just to be different. Anyways, Sold Design Lab sent me a pair of awesome Flares, so I decided to get over my natural aversion and try them out as I’m a fan of Sold Design Lab’s super stretch comfort factor, I just had to. I also love that the jeans don’t get pushed into “Fat Day / Skinny Day” jeans as these jeans really shrink or stretch to fit me no matter what kind of day I’m having. Guess dark wash blue denim is not so bad…
