Designer Dresses for Less: Target Go Anniversary

From WWD, "To mark the fifth year of its collaborations with up-and-coming designers, Target Corp. has tapped 17 past participants in the Go International program to design a series of dresses."

The Cut reports that the collection will be revivals of 34 dresses from the past 17 collections - Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker.

The dresses will go on sale beginning March 13 through April 10 at select Target stores and target.com.

Note from Erin:

I am so excited about the revival because before I lived in the States, I could only admire the collections from afar and wish upon a star that Target would be coming north of the border soon. Can't wait to try and get my hands on some Luella Bartley. There was a plaid bubble dress that I was totally lusting after. There are definitely some other pieces that I wasn't fast enough to snag that I can recall too, like the Shibori dress from Thakoon. Have you ever missed anything that you regret not picking up in time?

Btw interesting to note that the only designer to turn down Target's offer was Gap's current creative director Patrick Robinson. Guess now that he's not designing designer level product he feels it would be a conflict of interest?
