The Fall 2009 runways tell us romance is back via soft ruffles in varying materials like chiffon, tulle, mesh and knits. The look is more ethreal than sickly sweet and the tones are tinted lights that that look slightly dingy. Ivories, nudes and smoke blue seem to be the way to go.
