Designer Re-hash

I was looking on Gilt Group today at the Thakoon online sample sale and I noticed that a couple of his looks are almost identical to his looks for Target. I know that designers often borrow from their previous best sellers in terms of prints and bodies for their Target collaborations, but I would at least think that Thakoon would re-color the prints and not sell them so close to when the originals, although marked down are still significantly more expensive, are still being sold. Did the huge comissions from Target still not motivate Thakoon to design something new? Sure the fabrics and the trim on the original designer prices are nicer...but still!

The Pleated Stripe Dress is still available as is the Shibori Zip Back Top, but the Shibori Shirt Dress is unfortunately sold out.
