Chocolate show is absolutely amazing! Divine! The show started in Paris and also visits Tokyo, Bejing, Moscow, and Shanghai. As the name would imply, it's a show all about chocolate. There are tables and tables of chocolates from around the world with samples to try and beautiful boxes to buy. The show also includes demonstrations and an art exhibit. Friends who are not chocolate fans may be less enthusiastic about the event, but there's also wine tastings and plenty of teas, coffees, and non-chocolate goodies to be enjoyed.
Last night Erin and I went to the opening night preview of the 11th Annual Chocolate Show New York. The nice folks at KB Hall did PR for the event, and what an event it was! I had the most amazing chocolate of my life at Chocolate Show and sampled some extraordinaire spirits as well.
As part of opening night, there was a chocolate fashion show featuring designs from a number of designers including past Project Runway contestants and renown pastry chefs including the Oceana's Jansen Chan.
If you're in the city this weekend, you should definitely check it out!
