When asked to name a female performer who has made it through the decades, Madonna is usually the first to come to mind. Not that it's any sort of competition, but Kylie Minogue definitely deserves more credit for her career. She, too, came out in the 80's and is still going strong.
Kylie Minogue released X almost a year ago, and I am still in love with it. It's one of the few CDs I can listen to from start to finish and repeat. The album is just so fun, girly, and sexy.
My favorite track of X is "Speakerphone". It's a perfect pop song. It makes you want to dance, spells out a few dance moves, and uses every dazzling effect in the book - echo, filter, flanger, and phaser. Love it! Other standout tracks include: "The One", "Nu-di-ty", and "In My Arms".
