Now Wearing...

I wore this white dress over the weekend because I knew I’d be outside in the heat all day Sunday for a beer-and-cheese tasting and Bastille Day festivities. I should have taken a picture of the back, which has some interesting white mesh paneling; it makes for great ventilation. I wanted to keep the outfit simple, so I paired the dress with black accessories. But, never one to go colorless, I added the multi-colored bangles as a finishing touch.
This is one of my favorite dresses ever, but I don't wear it often simply because it's dry-clean only. It's such a hassle remembering when the cleaners are open, and it can get expensive. Now I understand why my mom always taught me to avoid dry-clean only garments. But sometimes I can't help myself! So many of my favorite garments contain silk or fine details that require special cleaning.

Cat eye sunglasses - no name
Black patent chain strap bag - Aldo
Black snakeskin flats - Kelsi Dagger
Bangles - from China

Great dress! It's fits you so well! I've been on the hunt for a nice white summer dress like yours.

Gorgeous dress. Great shape. My mom taught me the same thing about dry cleaning. Just say no! But also, have you ever noticed that some "dry clean only" garments have nothing that would suggest dry cleaning? Like 98% cotton: no effing way am I dry cleaning. It's fine. Fight the power! =)

Very cute and fresh, mami. Knowing you, I'm surprised you didn't do a pop of color with shoes.
